Miley and Beyoncé Light Up Paris: A Duet for the Ages

In a moment that electrified the City of Light, Miley Cyrus joined Beyoncé onstage at the Stade de France for a surprise performance that fans are already calling legendary.

The duet marked the live debut of their Grammy-winning track “II Most Wanted”, a standout from Beyoncé’s country-inspired album Cowboy Carter. The performance took place on June 19, 2025, during the first of Beyoncé’s three sold-out Paris shows.

The crowd of 80,000 erupted as Miley emerged from beneath the stage, clad in a shimmering gold catsuit that perfectly complemented Beyoncé’s molten-gold fringe ensemble.

The two artists held hands as they belted out the emotional ballad, their voices blending in a harmony that was both powerful and intimate. The moment was not just a musical highlight—it was a celebration of friendship, artistry, and mutual admiration.

Beyoncé introduced Miley with heartfelt praise, calling her “an icon” and “my biggest inspiration.” She told the audience, “I couldn’t have done this without her. I’m so grateful to sing with you, Miss Miley Cyrus.”

The crowd responded with deafening cheers, many visibly moved by the sincerity of the moment.

Miley later took to social media to reflect on the experience, calling it “a dream come true.” She wrote, “To be beside such a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA was more than I could’ve imagined.

I’ve loved Beyoncé my whole life, and to stand beside her in matching gold looks, singing our song about friendship, was the ultimate firework.”

The song itself has a rich backstory. Co-written by Cyrus and Beyoncé, “II Most Wanted” was inspired by their Southern roots—Texas for Beyoncé, Tennessee for Miley—and their shared journey through the music industry.

The track became an instant fan favorite upon its release in 2024 and went on to win a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

This performance also marked the first time Beyoncé brought a guest artist onstage during her Cowboy Carter tour, making the moment even more special. Fans are now speculating whether more surprise collaborations are in store as the tour continues across Europe and the U.S.

For now, though, Paris holds the memory of a golden night—two icons, one stage, and a song that captured the hearts of thousands.
