Lottie Tomlinson’s summer getaway took an unexpected turn when she was rushed to a hospital in Abu Dhabi for emergency surgery. 

The 26-year-old influencer and sister of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson had just landed in the UAE with her fiancé Lewis Burton and their two young children when she began experiencing intense stomach pain during the flight.

In a video shared from her hospital bed, Lottie explained that the pain worsened after landing, leading to vomiting and a visit to a local doctor.

 When initial treatments didn’t help, she was sent to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with appendicitis—a condition requiring immediate surgery.

 “Last night I had surgery to remove my appendix, and it all went well,” she told her followers, expressing gratitude to the medical team who cared for her.

Despite the frightening ordeal, Lottie remained optimistic. She shared heartfelt photos of her family by her side, including Lewis and their children, Lucky and baby Flossie. “Hopefully I can make a speedy recovery and enjoy our last few days here,” she wrote.

Just a day after surgery, Lottie was discharged and returned to her hotel to rest. She posted a photo from the back of a cab, holding hands with Lewis, and later shared a sunlit snapshot of her family by the pool. “Back where I belong,” she captioned the image. “You make everything better.”

Her resilience and openness struck a chord with fans, many of whom praised her for staying positive and transparent during such a vulnerable moment. Lottie’s story is a reminder that even in paradise, health can take a sudden turn—but with support and swift care, recovery is possible.
