Indian Pani Puri


A fun and flavorful street snack, pani puri consists of crispy hollow shells filled with spicy water, potatoes, and chickpeas—a burst of flavors in every bite!  


 **Ingredients:**  

- 20 puri shells (available in Indian stores or homemade)  

- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes  

- ½ cup boiled chickpeas  

- ½ tsp cumin powder  

- ½ tsp chili powder  

- 1 tbsp lemon juice  

- Salt to taste  


**For the Spicy Water:**  

- 2 cups cold water  

- 1 tbsp tamarind paste  

- 1 tsp mint paste  

- 1 tsp black salt  

- 1 tsp sugar  

- ½ tsp cumin powder  


 **Instructions:**  

1. Mix potatoes, chickpeas, spices, lemon juice, and salt for the filling.  

2. Blend ingredients for the spicy water until smooth and chill in the fridge.  

3. Crack open puris and fill with the potato mixture.  

4. Pour in the spicy water and enjoy immediately!
